Borrowdale Institute

Set in the village of Rosthwaite in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley, our village hall makes the most of its beautiful surroundings.

Our Main Hall looks out on to traditional stone buildings and beautiful fells; it is a airy open space decorated in a neutral colour palette, with high ceilings and lots of natural light flooding through the large windows.

and our Community Room has large windows looking out on to open fields and fells.  We have a large kitchen situated in the Community Room on the ground floor (next door to the Main Hall). Our ground floor is all on one level, including both external points of access from the car park and the main road.
